Good morning, Greensboro!
August is creeping up on us. I counted 5 free back-to-school events later this week.
No kids? Bet there’s something else for you: concerts every day of the week, the Wyndham starts Wednesday, one big comedian in town, a charity Spades tournament, a former MLB player signing autographs, and much more.
Before you scroll to see what’s going on, a few things:
One thing I’ve discovered is that many of you know a lot about Greensboro! Curious:
How long have you called Greensboro home?
I grew up in Greensboro, so I’m in the 10-25 years bucket. Hope to make it to the > 50 years bucket one day!
We’ll share final poll results on Facebook and Instagram. Also, based on feedback, we’ll do round 2 of the Greensboro neighborhoods as people post. 👀
Last thing:
Meteor shower!
Learned from reddit that the Delta Aquarids meteor shower peaks tonight through Wednesday. One user linked this cool map that shows light pollution. Sharing with you in case you need a better viewing spot!
