Hope you enjoyed the 4th! Whether you stayed here to celebrate or you’re just getting back from travels, we’ve got you covered for the week ahead in Greensboro as always.
Each week we highlight three unique events that stand out from the usual scroll (Greensboro’s Got It).
Plus, this week we’re showing you local hiring opportunities, Grasshopper home games, GCG dinner club updates, last week’s trivia results, and the full rundown of what’s going on every day.

Greensboro’s Got It
Highlighting 3 special events this week:
Gyotaku: Japanese Art of Fish Printing
Who needs an adult field trip this Wednesday evening? Better act quick because there’s only 5 tickets left to this Bitters Social House event.
Adult Recess FREE
If you can’t make the Wednesday field trip, maybe you can make recess for 21+ on Friday night at Barber Park. You’ll enjoy the classic playground games from your younger days, food & drink vendors, and DJ playing the nostaglic hits.
Flashback 70s Family Festival FREE
Go retro this Saturday at Greensboro History Museum for their 1970s party! Costume contest, bake offs, vintage vehicles, classic game shows, food, fun, and more. Party continues through the evening with music and a movie at LeBauer Park.
Hiring Event
The Bradley Group is hosting a Hiring Event series on Wednesday, July 8th and Wednesday, July 15th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Recent Graduates and Experienced, Skilled Laborers are encouraged to apply!

Greensboro Grasshoppers
Did yall make it out to the Hoppers (52-29) last week? Home games again this week as we face the Greenville Drive. Grab your tickets here:
GCG Dinner Club
Our last dinner club in the Lindley Park and Spring Garden area received average rating of 4.5 stars. We’re running it back on Wednesday, July 22 @ 6:30 PM.
Trivia Results: Who won the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in 1781?
America! - 46%
British - 54%
While technically the British won the battle, we like what Jay S. said after answering America: “Simple: we are here, and they’re not!”
